According to this site, color therapy is the fastest growing spa treatment in the United States. In addition, they said: “Science is now confirming that different colors interact with the endocrine system of the body to stimulate or inhibit hormonal production. Calming Pink

Here is another excellent site on colors. What attracted my attention is their coverage on the effect the color PINK. Quoting from the site: “Can pink make strong men weak? Do pink jail cells create a calming effect? Is it true that football locker rooms (the ones for the visiting/opposing teams) are painted a certain shade of pink to weaken the players?”
Yes and no! Here are the facts and some opinions at:

Beliefnet.com

Saturday, May 1st, 2004

The main premise of this site is that we all believe in something. Don’t let the word ‘believe’ throw you “off track” to the point that you might think that this is another evangelical coup—it isn’t. This is more of an interfaith/ philosophy/psychology type of site. What is important is that this site will really enrich your knowledge of our human society.

Binaural Beats

Saturday, May 1st, 2004

Binaural beat frequencies. What are they? Well, if you have not heard of them, it is a sound beat that only occurs in your head. The binaural beat affect the subcortical auditory system of the brain. When listening to the sound for a few minutes, the beats will force a resonant entrainment effect which, in turn, induces areas of the brain to resonate at the same frequency. This effect induces altered states of consciousness.
